Happy New Year! This year I picked “space” as my one little word for 2020. Click “Read More” to see why!
It is my 16th birthday today, so I am reflecting on what I have learned in my 16 trips around the sun! 1. Be yourself. Always! Comparison is the thief of joy!
2. Celebrate the small stuff! 3. Haters gonna hate, just shrug them off. 4. Give yourself some grace! You are doing just fine! 5. A smile is the best thing to wear. 6. Work hard. Be nice. 7. Stop to smell the roses (and pet the dogs)! 8. Do the thing. Wear that outfit, buy that book, apply for that job! 9. Choose h a p p y! 10. Do more things that make you happy! 11. The thing that is the end of the universe now will not matter in 100 years (or 1 year). 12. Life is outside your comfort zone. 13. A good playlist can turn the whole day around. 14. It will be okay. 15. Appreciate the time you spend with your family. 16. Do everything with love! 1/6/2019 0 Comments #OLW 2019: GraceIt's that time of the year! Time to pick another one little word! For those of you who do not know, one little word was started by Ali Edwards in 2006. You pick a word at the beginning of the year and focus on it for that whole year. It serves as a vision of how you want your year to look like. You can read more about it here. In 2017 my word was "do" and last year my word was "light". This year I chose "grace"! Click "Read More" to learn what the word means to me and why I chose it.
